Terms and Conditions

Carp Lakes Metz grants its customers access to the site for fishing holidays, with customers choosing their own length of stay. Bookings made online by the customer confirm their agreement with these General Terms and Conditions and the House and Fishing Rules of Carp Lakes Metz.

Bookings:

Bookings are only valid after payment of a non-refundable deposit. Carp Lakes Metz reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving reasons.

Payment:

The booking is confirmed as soon as the deposit has been credited to the bank account of Carp Lakes Metz. The remaining amount must be paid at least 2 weeks before arrival. If the remaining amount has not been paid at least 2 weeks before arrival, Carp Lakes Metz will automatically cancel the booking in question, without refund. All bookings made less than 2 weeks before the arrival date must be paid in full.

Cancellations:

All bookings canceled or changed by the customer, for whatever reason, are not eligible for a refund, even if the remaining amounts have been paid in part or in full.

Force majeure:

Carp Lakes Metz is not liable for any loss, delay, or cancellation resulting from the following situations: fire, storm, flood, port closures, weather conditions, riots, political unrest, labor disputes, war, or any other event or circumstance beyond our control, such as carp spawning, not feeding, a frozen lake, or a flooded lake.

Liability:

All paying customers have free access to the Carp Lakes Metz site and all associated facilities. Although every precaution is taken to ensure safety on the premises, Carp Lakes Metz cannot be held liable for any damage, theft, or accidents. To ensure the safety of all customers, strict rules must be observed. The company accepts no responsibility for accidents resulting from the violation of these safety rules. In the event of vandalism, damage to equipment, property or fish, or failure to comply with the house rules, the angler's permission to remain on the premises will be revoked and he or she will be required to leave the Carp Lakes Metz premises immediately.

We strongly advise our fishermen to take out travel insurance.

Legal authority:

Only the courts of France shall have jurisdiction in the event of a dispute or conflict.
